About Times Keep Learning:
This pandemic has introduced a whole new world of learning which is ‘learn from home’. While teachers and parents are adapting to this new online learning world, many are still struggling to cope with this change as blackboards are suddenly replaced by the digital screens. Thus Keep Learning is an initiative by The Times of India and powered by BYJU’s to help parents and teachers navigate the shift to online learning/teaching for kids and the changes in the education ecosystem due to the pandemic. It focuses on various aspects of online education like making online teaching effective, online learning made easy for students, exploring learning platforms, guiding through technology etc.
Apart from these, the initiative also focuses on 5 specific areas:
- Change in school syllabus
- Addressing concerns with digital and screen time
- Demystifying the National Education Policy 2020
- Parenting challenges in the COVID times
- From blackboard to digital screen: enabling online education
Everyone can access the content on the platform, view the webinars, participate in forums and discuss with experts for free. The key pillars of this programme are
- Content on online education: The topics will be covered through variety of articles, listicles and videos on the website
- Discussion with subject matter experts: There will be series of webinars and panel discussions with subject matter experts and key opinion leaders on the above mentioned topics
- One-on-one connect with experts: Registered users will also be able to connect one on one with key experts from multiple domains like education system, lifestyle coaching, child psychology, ophthalmology, career counselling etc to answer their questions
- Discussion forums: Registered users will also be able to participate in discussion forums on various topics and get perspective of experts and other participants
