“Today I write to tell you all how having clarity helps. It was the year 2017 when I decided that I would like to tell the world that life is beautiful, no matter what! I wanted to become a public speaker. I searched google- Places in Vadodara for Public speaking and there came a name – Vadodara Toastmasters Club. Any Toastmasters club across the globe helps us to work upon our communication and leadership skills. I became the President of Toastmasters Club of Baroda and currently as an Area Director, I serve as a guiding light to Bhopal Toastmasters club and Swami Vivekanand Toastmasters club. I also serve as a club coach to the Didcot Speakers Toastmasters club in the United Kingdom and mentoring to charter a new club focussing on public speaking called Charismatic Speakers Toastmasters Club. I am also a State Level Champion in the Speech Evaluation Contest – 2020.
I have written a book titled – ‘Finding the chromosome X. I specialize in helping kids with their presentation skills. I run the program called Be the C.E.O. for children of age 6 to 16 years. I have had the privilege of standing tall twice on the red circular carpet laid on the TEDx stage. I have spoken at different events globally and presented keynotes at various establishments such as – Reliance, SBI, AIIMS, Huntsman international, Parul University, The Maharaja Sayajirao University, etc., and also been a panellist at and judged a few events. I have been covered by both Print and Broadcast media and very soon you might know me as a Head Coach for a TEDx event.
What if I now tell you that I am standing at just 4 feet 6 inches tall and enjoying the privilege of having a rare health condition. I was hopeless and clueless but now I have travelled a journey from rags to riches in terms of self-confidence and am super comfortable in my own skin. I never dreamt that I would ever get any job anywhere but yes, I have worked in a travel agency in Dubai for 12 years and also worked at a school in Vadodara for five years and now am a Professional Speaker and a trainer. I know this article has a bit to the higher side of having I have done this, I have done that – it is not to brag about myself, but to tell you about the magic of having clarity about your goals, and if they are practical, life becomes easy. You just have to trust yourself, your capabilities. I could only trust myself when I met someone special and that someone special was me. Yes, I just had to meet myself and know my skills. Never stop learning is the simple mantra that I have strictly followed since then. I have also learned to not be harsh with myself. Always remember Self-love is not selfish love but it is SelfISHQ love. Love yourself unconditionally, you deserve it. Give yourself a priority too. Will you?”
